The Founders Committee of Seaside Cottage School

The Founders Committee exists to provide guidance and direction for Seaside Cottage School. The Chair of the Founders Committee is Headmistress of the school. The Committee makes recommendations to the Chair on policy, customs, fees, scholarships, promotions, curriculum, member approval, and assignments.

In addition, the Committee performs such behind-the-scenes, non-glamorous tasks as purchasing, tracking, distribution, bookkeeping, reporting, marketing, admissions, writing, interviewing, scheduling, typing, copying, cleaning, organizing, moving, assembling furniture, and cutting fruit for Tea! Oh, yes, and they all present classroom lessons as well.

Seaside Cottage School would not exist without the tireless efforts of these amazingly talented and dedicated ladies. Lest you think they devote all of their time to this ministry, these ladies are true Proverbs 31 women. Their husbands adore them, their children are generous, loving, kind, and smart, their homes are attractive and orderly, their speech pours forth with Biblical truth, and their friendships are forged with the fruit of the Spirit. And yet while we are all sinners, in need of a Savior, one would have a hard time finding such a loving and giving group of ladies.

Over the course of the life of Seaside Cottage School, current and former members of our Founders Committee have been Foster Parents, raised special-needs children, lived as Overseas Missionaries, adopted internationally, and planted a church as a Pastor’s Wife.

The School is so proud of our current Founders Committee Members and would like you to meet them. The following is their personal educational backgrounds and education-related positions and training.
